Objectives:-

Observe the effectivnes of differential protection to bus bars.

Understand how differential protection works in bus bars.

Point out relavent current equation of differential protection scheme.

Point out problems that might occur with current transformer saturation.

Introduction:-
Practically differential protection is an effective way to protect transformers, generators, bus bars and transmission lines. Differential schemes are used in primary protection.
