Logic and methodology of design – Lecture 1

1- Introduction
-Logic and design methodology lectures are proposed as one of the fundamental topics for students in architecture school, we can recognize the importance of (design ) as a creative act to achieve distinguished architecture . This creative mysterious a mixture of logic and instinct.
- The main goal of the lectures that will be given during this course is to
- discuss design in an ordered and logical way , to investigate the design process and discover its strategies and tactics
- Developing clear and specific explanation for design methodology as it is a scientific programmed operation that lead to make a change in choosing the means that lead to Design production from start point to the end .
-Accordingly , the lectures within this course will focus on the following issues :
The logic of design
The process of design (design methodology) and the outcome of the process
The methods of design
-This main goal will be achieved by :
-Declare the main goals of this topic and its direct effect on architectural design operation
- Know and understand the related other topics that affect directly in design operation
- Declare the main design principles and other factors included in design activity
- Knowing how to implement the logic for the sake of thinking clearly to make correct conclusions and denotation to avoid doing mistakes in design through false thoughts
